A personal project that captures the multifaceted nature of research in the field of ecology and conservation science seen through the lens of various stakeholders involved in such research efforts - scientists, graduate students, forest department, but also local residents and field assistants.
This project seeks to create an amalgamation of diverse visual (audiovisual in the future) anecdotes from field sites across India. The existing snippets are from Pakke, Eaglenest, and Tinsukia.
My heartfelt gratitude to all the researchers and field assistants who welcomed me to their field sites, and enriched my world with their interactions that snaked through the wild territories of conservation, climate, society, politics, and wellbeing into the fresh air of echoing laughter, culinary delights, and creativity.
